What time should we arrive?

We’d love for our guests to arrive around 2:30 PM to allow plenty of time for valet parking, a welcome refreshment, and to settle in before the ceremony begins at 3:30 PM.

Where do we park?

Valet parking will be available at the La Estancia Hotel & Spa lobby entrance. The rate is $25 per car for day use or $40 for overnight guests.

What Should I Wear?

Our wedding will be a formal affair, and we invite guests to dress in elegant evening attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits or tuxedos, while ladies should select formal gowns or refined evening dresses. The ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by an indoor reception, allowing guests to enjoy the evening comfortably. Visit the Dress Code Page for more information.

Are children invited?

As much as we adore your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration so that everyone can relax, unwind, and enjoy the evening.

Which airport should we fly into?

The closest major airport is San Diego International (SAN), about a 30–40 minute drive from La Estancia. Rideshares and rental cars are readily available at the airport.

Will transportation be provided?

All hotels are just a short drive from La Estancia, so guests can easily use a rideshare or taxi to and from the venue.

What will the weather be like?

April in La Jolla usually brings pleasant coastal sunshine with temperatures in the mid-70s °F during the day and 60s °F in the evening. Since our reception is indoors, you can comfortably dance the night away no matter the forecast.

Due to venue capacity and planning considerations, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. If your invitation includes a plus-one, it will be clearly indicated on your RSVP. We kindly ask that only those listed attend and appreciate your understanding as we plan our special day.
