Rozalyn and Trever’s story began in 2013 at the University of La Verne, during a campus concert. They arrived with separate friend groups, but one glance across the crowd changed everything. After striking up a conversation, they left the concert to meet friends at a nearby bar, laughing and talking until sunrise. Somewhere between those late-night stories and the bench outside the Art Building, they knew they had found something real.
Over the next few years, life tested their commitment — long-distance weekends, busy work schedules, and dreams that always seemed one step away. But through every challenge, they built toward a future together. In 2019, they finally made it happen, moving into their first apartment in San Marcos and turning shared dreams into daily life.
In 2024, everything came full circle. Trever opened a local office in Escondido, proposed to Rozalyn on a hill overlooking Puddingstone Lake — where their love first began — and the rest is history. Today, they live in Escondido with their three cats, Binky, Marshy, and Gigi, still laughing, still building, and still just as in love as that first sunrise in La Verne.
